364 Days a Year

No, it’s not Valentine’s Day
but love is still in the air.

And c’mon now... no one day
can own the celebration of love
love is an everyday celebration
love is hour by hour, love is minute
by minute, love is in the moment
love is the breath you take
love is as necessary to sustain life
as oxygen, without love we wither
and die, love is life and
a life well lived
is full of love.

No, it’s not Valentine’s Day
but love is still in the air.

THE ASH WEDNESDAY ACCIDENT

Jim ran into Bob as he was leaving church early Wednesday morning.

“Good morning Jim.”

“What’s up Bob? Hey man, you got something on your forehead... here let me get it for you.”

Jim then took his right thumb and rubbed off what he thought was dirt on Bob’s forehead.

It was only seconds later that Jim learned about the tradition of Ash Wednesday. Bob cursed at Jim and condemned him to Hell as he walked away angry.

Jim was baffled by what just took place and thought about Bob sentencing him to eternal hellfire upon his death; only to laugh it off since Hell is an imaginary place created by a fanatic cult that believes rubbing dirt on their heads excuses their bad behavior.

Jim continued on his way as he began to sing and whistle.

“Follow the yellow-brick road... you're off to see the Wizard, the Wonderful Wizard of Oz... because, because, because, because, because... because of the wonderful things he does.”
